Streetcars resume regular service along Bathurst Street

The TTC’s project to upgrade the tracks, curbs and switches at Bathurst Street and King Street West and install new centre-road “island” passenger platforms ended today, several days earlier than the TTC expected.

Streetcars operating along the 511 Bathurst route ended their detour along Spadina Avenue and resumed regular service this morning.

The cars have been detouring since Monday, July 11.

The construction also affected streetcars operating along the 504 King and 508 Lake Shore routes and buses operating along the 145 Downtown / Humber Bay express route resumed regular service on Wednesday, July 27. Buses operating along the 310 Bathurst overnight route resume regular service on Thursday, July 28.
