Less service to Wonderland after Labour Day



As the summer holidays come to an end, Canada’s Wonderland is open fewer hours each week. Transit agencies decrease service to and from the amusement and entertainment centre, starting Tuesday, September 6.

Currently, Brampton Transit, GO Transit, MiWay, the TTC and York Region Transit buses all provide serve to and from Wonderland.

Brampton Transit

Labour Day, Monday, September 5 is the last day this year that Brampton Transit operates buses along this route, linking Wonderland with the Bramalea Centre Terminal.

GO Transit
60 Wonderland - York Mills express

Labour Day, Monday, September 5 is the last day this year that GO Transit operates buses along this route seven days a week. (The buses link Wonderland with the Yorkdale and York Mills GO Bus Terminals.)

Starting Saturday, September 10, GO operates buses along the route Saturdays and Sundays only until Sunday October 31. Buses don’t operate holidays (specifically, Thanksgiving, Monday, October 11.)

From Saturday, September 10 until Sunday, September 25, southbound buses leave Wonderland Terminal every hour from 1 until 5 p.m. and every 30 minutes from 5 until 9:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Northbound buses leave York Mills GO Bus Terminal every 30 minutes from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. and every hour from 1 until 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. They leave Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal every 30 minutes from 8:10 a.m. until 1:10 p.m. and every hour from 1:10 until 7:10 p.m.

From Saturday, October 1 until Sunday, October 30, southbound buses leave Wonderland Terminal every hour from 1 until 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays and every 30 minutes from 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays until 1:30 a.m. Sundays and Mondays.

Northbound buses leave York Mills GO Bus Terminal every 30 minutes from 8 until 11 a.m., every hour from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., every 30 minutes from 3 until 8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. They leave Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal every 30 minutes from 8:10 until 11:10 a.m., every hour from 11:10 a.m. until 3:10 p.m. and every 30 minutes from 3:10 until 8:10 p.m.

Sunday, October 30 is the last day for any GO service to and from Wonderland this year.

MiWay

Labour Day, Monday, September 5 is the last day this year that buses operate along the route, linking the Mississauga City Centre Terminal with Wonderland, seven days a week.

Starting Saturday, September 10, MiWay operates buses along the route Saturdays and Sundays only. Buses don’t operate holidays (specifically, Thanksgiving, Monday, October 10.)

From Saturday, September 10 until Sunday, September 25, southbound buses leave Wonderland at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30, 2:30 and 8:15 p.m. Northbound buses leave the City Centre at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 and 7:10 p.m.

From Saturday, October 1 until Sunday, October 30, southbound buses leave Wonderland at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30, 2:30 and 5:15 p.m. Northbound buses leave the City Centre at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 and 4:10 p.m.

Sunday, October 30 is the last day for any MiWay service to and from Wonderland this year.

165 Weston Rd North

Buses continue to operate with their regular schedules along the 165D branch to and from Wonderland from about 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Saturdays and from about 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Sundays. Buses operate every 30 to 32 minutes and every second bus starts and ends its trip at Weston Road and Steeles Avenue West. At all other times Saturdays and Sundays, all buses start and end their trips at Steeles.

Buses don’t operate holidays (specifically, Thanksgiving, Monday, October 10.)

Sunday, October 30 is the last day for any TTC service to and from Wonderland this year.

York Region Transit
20 Jane - Concord

Labour Day, Monday, September 6 is the last day this year that buses operate through the Wonderland Terminal seven days a week.

Starting Tuesday, September 6, buses continue north- and southward along Jane Street and do not enter the terminal Mondays to Fridays.

Starting Saturday, September 10, all buses operating along the route divert off Jane Street to serve the Wonderland Terminal Saturdays and Sundays only. Buses don’t operate holidays (specifically, Thanksgiving, Monday, October 10.) The buses operate about every 31 minutes and enter the Wonderland Terminal from about 6:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. Saturdays and from about 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Sundays.

Sunday, October 30 is the last day for any YRT service to and from Wonderland this year.
