Streetcars return to St. Clair, evenings, weekends,
starting September 5

The TTC is finishing up its project to install new overhead wiring along St. Clair Avenue between St. Clair West and St. Clair Stations.

Starting Labour Day, Monday, September 5, it’s resuming streetcar service along the 512 St. Clair route at all times of the week, except overnight.

Starting that day, passengers no longer have to transfer between buses and streetcars at St. Clair West Station Mondays to Fridays after 10 p.m. and all day Saturdays and Sundays. Streetcars resume service east and west along St. Clair Avenue through St. Clair West Station terminal, serving all stops along the route.

The TTC started work replacing the wiring Sunday, July 31.
