GO building more parking at Scarborough GO Station,
starting September 6

Update — Saturday, December 10, 5:14 p.m.: Construction started on phase 3 of the project.

Update — Thursday, December 10, 12:39 p.m.: Construction started on phase 2 of the project.

Starting Tuesday, September 6, GO Transit contractors start revamping the parking facility at Scarborough GO Station.

When they finish the project next spring, they’ll have installed new paving and curbs, a closed-circuit television system for security and energy efficient-lighting.

During the first phase of the project, GO is closing the south-west part of the parking lot. However, you can still use the entrance from Natal Avenue. With less parking during construction, GO is encouraging commuters to consider parking at Eglinton GO Station, instead of Scarborough.
