Buses replace subway between Ossington and Broadview
after midnight, October 2 until 8

The TTC is maintaining the tracks and grinding the rails along the 2 Bloor - Danforth subway line between Ossington and Broadview Stations late nights this week. It’s closing the subway after midnight every morning at 12:01 a.m. and replacing the service with buses, starting tonight.

The subway closes at 12:01 a.m. from Monday, October 3 (meaning after midnight tonight) until Saturday, October 8. The TTC operates regular subway service between Kipling and Ossington Stations and between Kennedy and Broadview Stations.

Frequent buses operate between Ossington and Broadview Stations. The buses operate through the bus terminals at Ossington and Broadview Stations then drop off and pick up passengers on Bloor Streets West and East near Christie, Bathurst, Spadina, St. George, Bay, Bloor - Yonge, Sherbourne and Castle Frank Stations.

Since Ossington Station does not have an elevator and is not an accessible station, the TTC also provides accessible bus service between Dundas West and Broadview Stations.

Regular service resumes at about 5:30 a.m.

The TTC already started its ongoing program of maintaining the tracks by closing the subway after midnight between Kipling and Islington Stations last week and between Kipling and Jane Stations this week.

The program continues into November. Next week, the TTC is closing the subway after midnight between Broadview and St. George Stations.
