Part 3 -- Weekend events affect transit services,
October 7, 8, 9, 10

This weekend, for the first time since May, no special events affect transit services in Toronto. (Heads up: next weekend will be a completely different story!)

However, on the very edge of the Golden Horseshoe — the very edge of the area we cover in this blog — in Waterloo Region, Oktoberfest results in major changes for Grand River Transit services this weekend and next.

Closer to Toronto, the farmers markets in Brampton and Georgetown end after this Saturday. The markets have resulted in detours to local and GO bus services every Saturday since early June.

This post appears in three parts.

This part of the post describes some of the events affecting transit services in Kitchener and events in the Lindsay area of Kawartha Lakes, Oakville, the Rockton area of Hamilton and Waterloo.

Part 1 of the post describes events affecting transit services in Brampton, Cambridge, the Georgetown area of Halton Hills, Guelph and central Hamilton.

Part 2 of the post describes more of the events in Kitchener.
