Buses replace subway between Broadview and St. George,
after midnight, October 10 until 15



The TTC is maintaining the tracks and grinding the rails along the 2 Bloor - Danforth subway line between Broadview and St. George Stations late nights this week. It’s closing the subway after midnight every morning at 12:01 a.m. and replacing the service with buses, starting early Thanksgiving morning.

The subway closes at 12:01 a.m. from Monday, October 10 until Saturday, October 15. The TTC operates regular subway service between Kipling and St. George Stations and between Kennedy and Broadview Stations.

Frequent buses operate between St. George and Broadview Stations. The buses operate through the bus terminals at St. George and Broadview Stations then drop off and pick up passengers on Bloor Streets West and East near Bay, Bloor - Yonge, Sherbourne and Castle Frank Stations.

Regular service resumes at about 5:30 a.m.

The TTC already started its ongoing program of maintaining the tracks by closing the subway after midnight between Kipling and Islington Stations the week of September 20, between Kipling and Jane Stations the week of September 26 and between Ossington and Broadview Stations last week, the week of October 2.

The program continues into November. Next week, the TTC is closing the subway after midnight between Woodbine and St. George Stations.
