Weston GO Station construction blocks pedestrian access,
starting October 11

As part of the Georgetown South Project, starting Tuesday, October 11, GO Transit is restricting pedestrian access below the Lawrence Avenue West bridge to allow contractors to start work widening the bridge near Weston GO Station. In the interest of safety, GO is closing the north sidewalk beneath the bridge and alternately will close the north and south sidewalks afterwards. The work will not affect access to the train platform from Lawrence Avenue West.

GO expects that work will end by the end of 2011.
