Guelph Transit detours buses during Eramosa construction,
October 12 and 13



The City of Guelph is closing

  • Eramosa Road between Arthur Street North and Delhi Street

this Wednesday and Thursday for a project to replace the lead water service.

Guelph Transit is detouring buses operating along the 8 General Hospital and 61 Victor Davis routes, while the roadway is closed.


8 General Hospital

Wednesday, October 12 and Thursday, October 13, inbound buses operate along their regular route to Eramosa Road and King Street, then detour:

southward along King; and then
northwestward along Arthur Street North to Eramosa,
resuming their regular route southwestward along Eramosa.

Inbound buses serve all regular stops.

Outbound buses operate along their regular route to Wyndham Street North and Woolwich Street, then detour:

southeastward along Woolwich;
eastward along Macdonell Street;
northwestward along Arthur Street North; and then
northward along Queen Street to Eramosa Road,
resuming their regular route northeastward along Eramosa.

Outbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Eramosa Road and Arthur Street North.

Inbound buses operate along their regular route.

Wednesday, October 12 and Thursday, October 13, outbound buses operate along their regular route to to Wyndham Street North and Woolwich Street, then detour:

southeastward along Woolwich;
eastward along Macdonell Street;
northwestward along Arthur Street North; and then
northward along Queen Street to Eramosa Road,
resuming their regular route northeastward along Eramosa.

Outbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Eramosa Road and Arthur Street North.

Inbound buses operate toward downtown.

Outbound buses operate away from downtown.
