GO continues to revamp Scarborough GO Station

Update — Saturday, December 10, 5:14 p.m.: Construction has started on phase 3 of the project.

This week, GO Transit contractors started the second phase of a project to revamp Scarborough GO Station. During this phase, GO is closing the parking area immediately in front of the station building. It’s also closing the “Kiss and Ride” — the facility where motorists can drop off and pick up GO passengers. It’s opening a temporary “Kiss and Ride” just east of the area that it’s closing.

During construction, GO is sectioning off part of the new lot that it completed in the first phase of the project. To replace the parking spots that are no longer available during the second phase, GO is making that area available for you to park your vehicle.

Construction on phase 1 started Tuesday, September 6.
