Hamilton public meetings on revitalizing neighbourhoods
along future light rail transit line, November 18, 22, 23

The City of Hamilton is preparing a planning strategy to guide future development near the B-Line light rail corridor from McMaster University to Eastgate Square along Main Street, King Street and Queenston Road.

It’s holding three public information centres where you can review and comment on draft plans and strategies for developing and revitalizing the corridor and nearby neighbourhoods.

Your ideas and comments will help City staff prepare a development strategy and identify new policies permitting types of land use, setting building heights and specifying the types of buildings and urban design elements. You’ll also help shape future policies and programs to re-urbanize and revitalize the corridor.

The meetings take place Friday, November 18, Tuesday, November 22 and Wednesday, November 23.
