More GO train service -- including the Barrie line --
to get passengers to and from the Santa Claus Parade



This Sunday, November 20, GO Transit is adding to its regular Sunday train service by operating extra trains along the 01 Lakeshore West and 09 Lakeshore East lines and a special train service along the 65 Barrie line for the annual Santa Claus Parade in downtown Toronto.

GO is operating one extra westbound train along the 09 Lakeshore East line. The train leaves Oshawa GO Station at 10:11 a.m. Sunday and serves all stops until Union Station. An extra eastbound train leaves Union at 4:43 p.m. and serves all stops to Oshawa.

GO buses operating along the 90 Lakeshore East route don’t connect with these trains at Oshawa GO Station.

GO is operating one one extra eastbound train along the 01 Lakeshore West line. The train leaves Aldershot GO Station at 10:34 a.m. Sunday and serves all stops until Union Station. An extra westbound train leaves Union at 4:13 p.m. and serves all stops until Aldershot.

GO buses operating along the 15 / 18 Lakeshore West routes don’t connect with these trains at Aldershot GO Station.

This year for the first time, GO is operating train service along the 65 Barrie line for parade. A special southbound train leaves Barrie South GO Station at 9:52 a.m. and serves all stops until Union Station. A special northbound train leaves Union at 4:28 and serves all stops until Barrie South.

GO buses operating along the 63 / 65 / 68 Barrie routes do not serve East Gwillimbury, King City, Maple or Rutherford GO Stations weekends.
