GO plan for bus by-pass lanes along Don Valley Parkway:
public meeting today

Metrolinx and GO Transit are hosting a public meeting today, Tuesday, November 22 as part of the environmental assessment process for a project to build bus by-pass lanes along the Don Valley Parkway.

Adding bus by-pass lanes on the Parkway will improve reliability of GO buses operating along the roadway, hopefully, encouraging more passengers to travel on public transit.

Your comments and ideas are an important part of the process. GO staff and the study consultants will attend to discuss plans, answer questions and receive your comments.

The meeting takes place from 6 until 9 p.m. today, at York Reception Centre, 1100 Millwood Road, just north of Overlea Boulevard.

Getting there by public transit:

  • Southbound TTC buses operating along the 25 Don Mills, 56 Leaside, 81 Thorncliffe Park and 100 Flemingdon Park routes to Millwood Road just south of Overlea Boulevard. Walk north and cross Millwood at the signal.
  • Northbound buses operating along the 25 Don Mills route to Overlea Boulevard, just east of Millwood Road. Walk west and cross Overlea at the signal.
  • Northbound buses operating along the 56 Leaside route to the door.
  • Northbound buses operating along the 81 Thorncliffe Park and 100 Flemingdon Park routes to Millwood Road just south of Overlea Boulevard. Walk north and cross Overlea at the signal.
