Toronto Transit Commission meets, November 23



The Toronto Transit Commission meets tomorrow, Wednesday, November 23 at 1 p.m.

The meeting takes place in Committee Room 2, second floor, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen Street West.

Among several other items, the commission will discuss staff reports

  • recommending that the TTC cancel service along the 146 Downtown / Humber Bay express route. (You can read the report here. (.pdf))
  • recommending that the Commission approve the names of six new subway stations on the 1 Yonge - University - Spadina line and rename a current station. (You can read the report here. (.pdf))
  • establishing a process for implementing the PRESTO fare card system on the TTC. (You can read the report here. (.pdf)) (The Metrolinx board of directors is reviewing a similar report during its meeting on the same day.)
