Oakville Transit revises high school service,
starting December 5



Oakville Transit is revising service to and from Abbey Park High School and St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Secondary School, starting Monday, December 5.

The changes affect service along the 81N Loyola / Abbey Park North morning high school special, 81N Abbey Park North afternoon high school special and 82 Loyola North afternoon high school special routes.

OT is not revising service along the 81S Loyola / Abbey Park South high school special route.


81N Abbey Park North afternoon high school special

Starting Tuesday, December 5, a bus leaves Abbey Park High School at 3 p.m. Monday-to-Friday school days and proceeds:

westward along Glen Abbey Gate;
northward along Third Line;
eastward along Upper Middle Road West;
northward along Fourth Line;
westward along West Oak Trails Boulevard;
northward along Proudfoot Trail;
westward along Pine Glen Road;
southward along Postmaster Drive;
westward along Westoak Trails Boulevard;
southward along Grand Oak Trail;
westward along Upper Middle West;
northward along Colonel William Parkway;
eastward along Dundas Street West; and then
southward along Bronte Road to Richview Boulevard,
arriving at 3:26 p.m. and ending its trip.

81n Loyola / Abbey Park North morning high school special

Starting Tuesday, December 5, Oakville Transit operates two buses, along two slightly different routes, to serve North Oakville passengers traveling to the two high schools.

One bus leaves Upper Middle Road West west of Bronte Road at 7:33 a.m. Monday-to-Friday school days, then proceeds:

westward along Upper Middle West;
northward along Colonel William Parkway;
eastward along Dundas Street West;
southward along Bronte Road;
eastward along Westoak Trails Boulevard;
southward along Third Line;
eastward along Upper Middle West;
southward along Nottinghill Gate to St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School,
arriving at 7:52 a.m.
The bus then continues:
southward along Nottinghill;
west- and southward along Pilgrim’s Way; and then
westward along Abbey Gate to Abbey Park High School,
arriving at 7:56 a.m. and ending its trip.

Another bus leaves Grand Oak Trail north of Upper Middle Road West at 7:33 a.m. Monday-to-Friday school days, then proceeds:

northward along Grand Oak;
westward along Westoak Trails Boulevard;
northward along Postmaster Drive;
eastward along Pine Glen Road;
southward along Proudfoot Lane;
eastward along Westoak Trails Boulevard;
southward along Fourth Line and Nottinghill Gate to St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School,
arriving at 7:52 a.m.
The bus then continues:
southward along Nottinghill;
west- and southward along Pilgrim’s Way; and then
westward along Abbey Gate to Abbey Park High School,
arriving at 7:56 a.m. and ending its trip.

82 Loyola North afternoon high school special

Starting Tuesday, December 5, a bus leaves Loyola Catholic Secondary School at 3 p.m. Monday-to-Friday school days, then proceeds:

southward along Nottinghill Gate;
eastward along Monastery Drive;
northward along Dorval Drive;
north- and westward along Westoak Trails Boulevard;
northward along Proudfoot Trail;
westward along Pine Glen Road;
southward along Postmaster Drive;
westward along West Oak Trails Boulevard;
southward along Grand Oak Trail;
westward along Upper Middle West;
northward along Colonel William Parkway;
eastward along Dundas Street West; and then
southward along Bronte Road to Richview Boulevard,
arriving at 3:26 p.m. and ending its trip.
