Crane blocks street, TTC detours buses, December 7

Update — Tuesday, December 6, 3:35 p.m.: The contractors have postponed the crane lift until tomorrow, Wednesday, December 7, instead of today, Tuesday, December 6. The TTC is also detouring the buses tomorrow, instead of today.

The City of Toronto is closing

  • Marine Parade Drive

to accommodate contractors who are lifting a crane onto a work site tomorrow, Wednesday, December 7 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along the 66D Prince Edward route, while the roadway is closed.

From 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, southbound buses end their trips in the Park Lawn / Lake Shore Loop.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Lake Shore Boulevard West across from #2155 Lake Shore West (Christie’s) and at Brookers Lane and
  • on Marine Parade Drive south of Lake Shore Boulevard West and beside #58 Marine Parade.

Northbound buses start their trips in the Park Lawn / Lake Shore Loop, then proceed:

along their regular route northward along Park Lawn Road.

Northbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Marine Parade Drive beside #58 Marine Parade.
