GRT revising services, December 19

Grand River Transit is making minor changes to its services, starting Monday, December 19.

It’s the same day that GO Transit trains arrive in Kitchener for the first time, although the GRT changes have nothing to do with helping passengers connect with the new commuter train service.

Also, starting Monday, December 19 is less frequent Monday-to-Friday service on some GRT routes for the holiday period, Monday to Fridays, December 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30. GRT will also make further changes to its services, starting Monday, January 2, 2012.

Future Transit Toronto posts will outline details of the seasonal service reductions and the January service changes.

GRT is revising service along these routes: 6 Bridgeport, 7C Mainline - Conestoga Mall, 12 Conestoga Mall - Fairview Park Mall, 27 Chicopee, 29 Keats Way, 52 Fairview Park Mall - Ainslie St, 61 Cambridge Centre - Conestoga College, 201 iXpress.

Specifically, GRT is: increasing service along current routes; and adjusting the schedules of current routes.
