GO trains again bypassing Aldershot GO Station

Although GO Transit announced earlier today that trains had resumed regular service through Aldershot GO Station, the trains continue to bypass the station. Trains that usually start or end their trips in Aldershot, originate, instead, at Burlington GO Station. GO is operating buses to shuttle passengers between Aldershot and Burlington Stations.

Trains that start and end their trips at the Hamilton GO Centre skip Aldershot GO Station today.

GO trains have been bypassing Aldershot since a VIA Rail Canada train derailed Sunday, February 26 at King Road in Burlington, just east of Aldershot Station.
