Guelph Transit detours buses April 2, 3
during construction in Westminster Woods area



The City of Guelph is closing

  • Goodwin Drive between Frederick and Baxter Drives

to connect new homes in the subdivision to utilities from 7 a.m. Monday, April 2 until 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 3.

Guelph Transit is detouring buses operating along the 5 South Gordon route, while the road is closed.


5 South Gordon

All day Monday, April 2 and Tuesday, April 3, southbound buses operate along their regular route to the roundabout at Frederick and Goodwin Drives. The buses detour by circling the roundabout, then proceeding eastward — back the way they just came — along Frederick to Victoria Road South. They then proceed:

southward along Victoria South;
westward along Clair Road East; and then
northward along Tolton Drive to Goodwin,
resuming their regular route eastward along Goodwin.

Buses skip their regular stop

  • on Goodwin Drive at Ray Crescent.
