The Region of Peel and the City of Mississauga are closing

  • Dixie Road (Regional Road 4) between South Gateway Road and Eastgate Parkway

this weekend, Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29.

5 Dixie

From 7 a.m. Saturday, April 28 until 5 a.m. Monday, April 30, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Dixie Road and Eglinton Avenue East, then detour:

resuming their regular route southward along Dixie.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Dixie Road north of Eglinton Avenue West, at Crestlawn Drive, South Gateway Road and Eastgate Parkway.

Instead, southbound buses drop off and pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Eglinton Avenue East east of Dixie Road, across from Matheson Boulevard East, east of Matheson Boulevard East and at Eastgate Parkway and
  • on Eastgate Parkway south of Eglinton Avenue East, across from Tahoe Boulevard and at Fieldgate Drive.

Northbound buses reverse the detour routing.
