Brampton Transit detours buses for Goreway construction,
May 25, 26, 27, 28



The City of Brampton is closing

  • Goreway Drive between Cottrelle Boulevard and Humberwest Parkway

Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday, as Region of Peel contractors continue to work on a project to install new watermains.

Brampton Transit is detouring buses operating along the 5 Bovaird route, while the road is closed.


5 Bovaird

From 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 25 until 6 a.m. Monday, May 28, east- and southbound buses operate along their regular route to Castlemore Road and Humberwest Parkway, then detour:

southward along Humberwest Parkway to Goreway Drive,
resuming their regular route southward along Goreway.

East- and southbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Castlemore Road at Horizon Street and Bayridge and Goreway Drives and
  • on Goreway Drive south of Castlemore Road, across from Cottrelle Boulevard, beside #9658 Goreway and #9400 Goreway, across from Yorkland Boulevard and beside #9186 Goreway.

North- and westbound buses reverse the detour routing.

North- and westbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Goreway Drive across from #9186 Goreway, at Yorkland Boulevard, across from #9400 Goreway and #9658 Goreway, north of Cotrelle Boulevard and at Castlemore Road and
  • on Castlemore Road west of Goreway and Crystalhill Drives.
