More service to Canada's Wonderland started July 2



This week, you have more ways to travel by transit to Canada’s Wonderland.

Starting Monday, July 2, MiWay operates buses to and from Wonderland every day of the week. And, starting Canada Day, Sunday, July 1, GO Transit operates buses to and from Wonderland on a regular schedule seven days a week, while York Region Transit extends the hours of its weekend service. The TTC is not revising its services.

Brampton Transit is not operating buses to and from Wonderland this year.

Daily service continues throughout the summer until Labour Day, Monday, September 3.

GO Transit
60 Canada’s Wonderland

Starting Canada Day, Sunday, July 1, southbound buses leave Wonderland at 1 p.m. and every hour until 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and every 30 minutes until 11:30 p.m. Sundays, holidays and Mondays to Fridays. They arrive in York Mills GO Bus Terminal at 1:30 p.m. and every hour until 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and every 30 minutes until midnight.

Northbound buses leave York Mills at 8 a.m. and every 30 minutes until 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and every hour until 7 p.m. They arrive in the Wonderland Terminal at 8:30 a.m. and every 30 minutes until 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and every hour until 7:30 p.m.

Starting Sunday, July 8 and Sundays until Sunday, September 2, GO operates two more early-morning southbound buses along the route after midnight. The buses leave Wonderland at midnight and 12:30 a.m. Sundays. They arrive in York Mills at 12:30 and 1 a.m.

MiWay
88 Wonderland

Starting Monday, July 2, MiWay operates express buses between the City Centre Transit Terminal and Canada’s Wonderland seven days a week.

Southbound buses leave the Wonderland Terminal at 10 and 11:30 a.m. and 1, 2:30, 8:45 and 10:15 p.m. Sundays, holidays and Mondays to Fridays. They leave Wonderland at at 10 and 11:30 a.m. and 1, 2:30, 8:45, 9:35, 10:15 and 11:15 p.m. Saturdays. And, they leave at 10 and 11:30 a.m. and 1, 2:30, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m. Labour Day, Monday, September 3.

Northbound buses leave the City Centre Transit Terminal at 9:15 and 10:45 a.m. and 12:15, 1:45, 8 and 9:30 p.m. Sundays, holidays and Mondays to Fridays. They leave the City Centre at 9:15 and 10:45 a.m. and 12:15, 1:45, 8, 9:30 and 10:20 p.m. Saturdays. And, they leave at 9:15 and 10:45 a.m. and 12:15, 1:45, 6 and 7:30 p.m. Labour Day, Monday, September 3.

Buses continue to operate daily until Labour Day, Monday, September 3. Starting Saturday, September 8, buses operate Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only until Sunday, October 28.

Toronto Transit Commission
165 Weston Rd North

The TTC operates buses to and from Wonderland Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from about 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Buses drop off and pick up passengers every 36 minutes Saturday mornings, every 20 minutes Saturday afternoons and every 24 minutes Saturday evenings. They serve each stop every 36 minutes Sunday-and-holiday mornings and every 42 minutes Sunday-and-holiday afternoons and evenings.

South- and eastbound buses operating along the 165A Weston Rd North branch start their trips at the Wonderland Terminal, then proceed:

north- and eastward along the Wonderland Access Road;
southward along Jane Street; and then
westward along Major Mackenzie Drive West to the off-street loop west of Highway 400,
resuming the regular 165D route westward along Major Mackenzie West.

West- and northbound buses reverse this routing.

The first bus arrives at Wonderland from York Mills Station at 8:32 a.m. Saturdays and 8:41 a.m. Sundays and holidays. The last bus leaves Wonderland for York Mills at 10:48 p.m. Saturdays and 8:30 p.m. Sundays and holidays.

The last day for the TTC’s Wonderland service is Sunday, October 28.

York Region Transit
20 Jane - Concord

Both northbound and southbound buses operate through the Wonderland Terminal seven days a week.

Buses serve Wonderland about every 18 minutes during morning rush hours, every 30 minutes from about 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., every 19 minutes during afternoon rush hours and every 30 minutes after 7 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.

YRT is increasing the frequency of service along the route Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Starting Canada Day, Sunday, July 1, buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route every 29 minutes, instead of every 43 minutes, Sundays and holidays.

Starting Saturday, July 7, buses serve the stops every 23 minutes, instead of every 30 minutes, Saturdays before 7 p.m. They serve the stops every 23 minutes, instead of every 29 minutes, Saturdays after 7 p.m.

760 Vaughan Mills / Wonderland

YRT is adjusting its schedule to operate later buses from Wonderland Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

It’s adjusting the southbound bus to leave Canada’s Wonderland at 11 p.m. and the last Sunday and holiday southbound bus to from Canada’s Wonderland at 10 p.m.

That means that buses leave Wonderland at 10 a.m. Saturdays and every hour until 11 p.m. They leave Wonderland at 9 a.m. Sundays and holidays and every hour until 10 p.m.

Northbound buses leave Finch GO Bus Terminal at 9 a.m. Saturdays and every hour until 9 p.m.
