New Weston GO Station opened today

weston_station_2015-300x157.jpgToday, Monday, July 23, GO Transit opened its new Weston GO Station on the south side of Lawrence Avenue West.

Contractors have finished paving and painting the parking lot and installing heated shelters on the platforms. They’ve completed the curbs and the new entrances to the station from Weston Road.

More work on the station and other nearby work — all part of the major project to upgrade the Georgetown South Rail corridor and build the Air Rail Link — continues until 2015.
