Fifth annual GRT kids days, August 15, 16

Get ‘em while they’re young, GRT, get ‘em while they’re young.

Grand River Transit continues its mission to turn the kids of Waterloo Region into transit geeks before they’re 8 years old — by hosting its fifth annual Kids Day events this week.

From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 15, kids 4 to 8 years old can visit the Charles Street Terminal in downtown Kitchener for a fun day of activities. They’ll learn more about GRT and explore a bus, an ambulance and a police cruiser.

Kids in Cambridge get their chance Thursday, August 16, also from 10 until 2 at the Ainslie Street Terminal in the Galt City Centre.
