YRT revised routes and services, September 2



York Region Transit revised its routes and services last Sunday, September 2, increasing its many services to and from high schools.

It continues to consolidate its service resources by increasing service along major YRT and Viva routes and decreasing service along some local routes.

Specifically, YRT is increasing service along current routes; decreasing service along current routes; increasing the frequency of service along current routes; decreasing the frequency of service along current routes; extending current routes; revising current routes; revising services to and from universities and colleges; resuming extra service to and from high schools; revising seasonal service;adjusting the schedules of current routes; and making other changes to service along current routes.


Increasing service along current routes


31 Aurora North - Industrial Parkway

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT resumes operating an extra bus from St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic High School. The bus leaves the school at 2:40 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and arrives in the new Aurora GO Station bus loop at 2:42 p.m. The bus then starts regular service along the rest of the route.

YRT is also revising the route.

300 Business express

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT operates two more buses along the route. The new southbound bus leaves Highway 7 west of Commerce Valley Drive East at 5:10 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. The bus arrives in Finch GO Bus Terminal at 5:33 p.m.

The new northbound bus leaves Finch at 8:05 a.m. It arrives in the Town Centre Boulevard bus loop at 8:35 a.m.

YRT is also making another change to service along the route.

303 Bur Oak express

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT operates a new northbound bus along the route.

The bus leaves Finch GO Bus Terminal at 4:50 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. It arrives on Bur Oak Avenue across from Mount Joy GO Station at 5:32 p.m.

YRT is also making another change to service along the route.

90 / 90B Leslie

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT operates an extra northbound bus to relieve overcrowding on buses at St. Robert Catholic Secondary School. The bus leaves Don Mills Station at 2:38 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.

50 Queensway

Starting Sunday, September 2, YRT is increasing service along the 50 Queensway route, — a route it just introduced in July — with buses operating seven days a week, partly replacing GO Transit buses operating along the 69 Sutton / Newmarket route. (The last GO buses operated along this route Saturday, September 1.)

It’s also extending the route so that buses operate between Pefferlaw or Sutton and Newmarket.

Sundays and holidays, starting Sunday, September 2, buses serving the 50 Queensway route drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route every 85 minutes.

Mondays to Fridays, starting Tuesday, September 4, buses serve the stops every 30 minutes during rush hours, every 57 minutes from about 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and every 90 minutes after 7 p.m.

Saturdays, starting Saturday, September 7, buses serve the stops every 57 minutes.

Southbound buses leave Pefferlaw Road and Station Street at 5:48 and 7:16 a.m. and 12:58, 2:52 and 9:06 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. They arrive in the Newmarket GO Bus Terminal at 7:25 and 8:53 p.m. and 2:35, 4:29 and 10:03 p.m.

They also leave Pefferlaw at 7:56 a.m. and 3:51 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. They arrive in Newmarket at 9:33 a.m. and 5:28 p.m.

Northbound buses heading towards Pefferlaw leave Newmarket at 8:25 and 11:15 a.m. and 4:36, 6:35 and 10:15 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. They arrive in Pefferlaw at 10:02 a.m. and 12:52, 6:13, 8:12 and 11:52 p.m.

They also leave Newmarket at 2:06 and 10:15 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. They arrive in Pefferlaw at 3:43 and 11:52 p.m.

All other buses operate only between Sutton and Newmarket.

23 Thornhill Woods

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT operates an extra northbound bus on a new Monday-to-Friday trip along the route to accommodate passengers traveling from Alexander Mackenzie High School. (Some of these passengers formerly rode buses operating along the 83 Trench route. YRT restructured that route in July so that buses serving the route no longer operate near the high school.)

Passengers traveling from Alexander Mackenzie should board westbound buses operating along the 4 / 4A Major Mackenzie route before transferring onto the extra northbound bus operating along the 23 Thornhill Woods route at Major Mackenzie Drive West and Bathurst Street.

YRT is also decreasing the frequency of service along the route.

83 / 83A Trench

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT operates an extra northbound bus from Richmond Hill Centre Terminal Monday-to-Friday afternoons. The bus relieves overcrowding by passengers who board buses at Langstaff Secondary School.

YRT is also revising the route and adjusting the schedule of the route.

Decreasing service along current routes


20 Jane - Concord

Since Canada’s Wonderland is now only open Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, Friday, August 31 was the last day that YRT diverted to the Wonderland Terminal Mondays to Fridays.

Starting Saturday, September 8, the last southbound bus leaves Wonderland Terminal at 10:56 p.m. Saturdays, while the last northbound bus leaves Wonderland at 11:22 p.m., reflecting the shorter operating hours at Canada’s Wonderland.

YRT is also decreasing the frequency of service along the route.

22 King City

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT decreases the hours of service so that buses only operate along the main 22 branch Mondays to Fridays during rush hours and all day Saturdays.

Buses continue to operate along the 22A branch at all times Mondays to Saturdays, and, in fact, YRT is increasing the frequency of service along that branch of the route.

Passengers traveling between Seneca College’s King Campus and King City, Maple and York University from about 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays must board buses operating along the 88 Bathurst route to connect with buses operating along the 22A branch at Bathurst Street and King Road.

YRT is also extending the route of some buses operating along the route and making another change to service along the route.

58 Leslie

Friday, August 31 was the last day that YRT operated the northbound bus that leaves the 404 Town Centre at 6:57 a.m. Mondays to Fridays. Few passengers were riding this bus.

Since Canada’s Wonderland is decreasing its service hours, starting Sunday, September 2, buses only operate along the route Saturdays and Sundays.

Throughout September, the last southbound bus leaves Wonderland at 8 p.m. Saturdays. The last southbound bus leaves Wonderland at 10 p.m. Sundays.

Throughout October, the last southbound bus leaves Wonderland at 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Increasing the frequency of service along current routes


88 / 88A / 88E Bathurst

Starting Saturday, September 8, YRT increases the frequency of service along the route Saturday mornings.

Buses drop off and pick up passengers at stops along the route every 32 minutes, instead of every 35 minutes, Saturday mornings.

YRT is also decreasing the frequency of service at another time of the week and a adjusting the schedules of the route.

YRT is increasing the frequency of service along the route Mondays to Saturdays.

Starting Tuesday, September 4, buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the 91 and 91A branches every 20 minutes, instead of every 27 minutes, Mondays to Fridays before 7 a.m. They serve the stops every 20 minutes, instead of every 24 minutes, during morning rush hours. They serve the stops every 40 minutes, instead of every 20 minutes, instead of every 26 minutes, during afternoon rush hours. They serve the stops every 20 minutes, instead of every 28 minutes, after 7 p.m.

Starting Saturday, September 8, buses serve stops along both branches every 42 minutes, instead of every 44 minutes, before 11 a.m. Saturdays. They serve the stops every 54 minutes, instead of every 56 minutes from about 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. They serve the stops every 48 minutes, instead of every 50 minutes, after 7 p.m.

YRT is also decreasing the frequency of service along the route at other times of the week.

22A King City

YRT is increasing the frequency of service along this branch of the route Mondays to Fridays.

Starting Tuesday, September 4, buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route every 55 minutes, instead of every 75 minutes during rush hours. (On Keele Street north of Maple GO Station, King Road and Yonge Street between Bloomington and King Road, where buses serve both the 22 and 22A branches during rush hours, buses serve stops every 27½ minutes, instead of every 30 minutes.)

Buses serve the stops every 50 minutes, instead of every 2½ hours, from about 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. They serve the stops every 55 minutes, instead of every 70 minutes, after 8 p.m.

YRT is also decreasing service along the 22 branch of the route. It’s also extending the route for some buses operating along the 22 branch and making another change to service along the route.

589 / 590 Richmond Hill community bus

Starting Sunday, September 2, YRT increases the frequency of service along the route seven days a week.

Buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route every 90 minutes, instead of every 2 hours.

Viva orange

YRT increases the frequency of service seven days a week.

Starting Sunday, September 2, buses drop off and pick up passengers at vivastations along the entire route every 30 minutes Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Between Martin Grove vivastation and York University, where buses operate along both YRT’s Viva orange route and Brampton Transit’s 501 Züm Queen route, buses serve stations every 15 minutes.

Starting Tuesday, September 4, buses serve vivastations every 20 minutes Mondays to Fridays before 7 a.m., every 15 minutes during rush hours, every 20 minutes from about 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and from about 7 until 10 p.m. and every 30 minutes after 10 p.m.

Between Martin Grove vivastation and York University, where buses operate along both YRT’s Viva orange route and Brampton Transit’s 501 Züm Queen route, buses serve vivastations every 10 minutes before 5 a.m., every 7½ minutes during rush hours, every 10 minutes from about 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and from 7 until 10 p.m. and every 15 minutes after 10 p.m.

Viva pink

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT increases the frequency of service Mondays to Fridays during rush hours. Buses drop off or pick up passengers at vivastations along the entire route every 15 minutes.

Between McCowan vivastation and Richmond Hill Centre, where buses serving both the Viva purple and Viva pink routes operate, buses serve vivastations every 7.5 minutes during rush hours.

Viva purple

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT resumes the short-turn branch of the route, with some buses operating only between York University’s Keele Campus and Richmond Hill Centre Terminal Mondays to Fridays from about 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

By operating the short-turn branch, YRT increases the frequency of service Mondays to Fridays during rush hours. Buses drop off or pick up passengers at vivastations along the entire route between York and McCowan Road every 15 minutes.

Between York University and Richmond Hill Centre Terminal, where YRT operates the short-turn service, buses serve vivastations every 7.5 minutes during rush hours.

Between McCowan vivastation and Richmond Hill Centre, where buses serving both the Viva purple and Viva pink routes operate, buses serve vivastations every 7.5 minutes during rush hours.


Decreasing the frequency of service along current routes

88 / 88A / 88E Bathurst

Starting Saturday, September 8, YRT decreases the frequency of service along the route Saturday afternoons.

Buses drop off and pick up passengers at stops along the route every 36 minutes, instead of every 35 minutes, Saturday afternoons.

YRT is also increasing the frequency of service at another time of the week and a adjusting the schedules of the route.

Since fewer passengers travel to and from Canada’s Wonderland in September, YRT is decreasing the frequency of service along the route Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Starting Sunday, September 2, buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route every 43 minutes, instead of every 29 minutes Sundays and holidays.

Starting Saturday, September 8, buses serve the stops every 30 minutes, instead of every 29 minutes from about noon until 6:30 p.m. Saturdays. Buses continue to operate every 29 minutes before noon and after 6:30 p.m.

8 Kennedy

Starting Tuesday, September 4, buses serve stops every 19 minutes, instead of every 16 minutes, Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours. They serve stops every 32 minutes, instead of every 24 minutes, from about 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. They serve the stops every 22 minutes, instead of every 17 minutes, during afternoon rush hours and from 7 until 11 p.m.

98 / 99 Yonge late night

YRT is decreasing the frequency of service Sundays, holidays and Mondays to Fridays.

Starting Sunday, September 2 buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route every 47 minutes, instead of every 44 minutes, Sundays and holidays.

Starting Tuesday, September 4, buses serve the stops every 26 minutes, instead of every 28 minutes, Mondays to Fridays.

Extending current routes


18 Bur Oak

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT diverts the westbound bus that leaves Markham Stouffville Hospital at 7:29 a.m. Mondays to Fridays to serve the regular school route along White’s Hill Avenue.

It also diverts two eastbound buses that both leave Bur Oak and Roy Rainey Avenues - just west of Bur Oak Secondary - at 3:07 p.m. to serve the regular school route along White’s Hill Avenue.

YRT also operates extra buses to serve passengers traveling to and from both Pierre Elliot Trudeau High School and Bur Oak Secondary School. It’s extending the route of these extra buses southward beyond Markham Stouffville Hospital into the Kenilworth area.

A westbound bus leaves the Church Street at Country Glen Road at 3:38 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, then proeeds:

westward along Church Street;
southward along Ninth Line; and then
eastward along Kenilworth Gate to Outer Banks Drive,
ending its trip at 3:40 p.m.

This southbound bus drops off passengers at stops

  • on Ninth Line at Rose Way and Highway 7 and
  • on Kenilworth Gate at Outer Banks Drive.

Two eastbound buses leave Kenilworth and Outer Banks at 7:32 a.m. and 3:40 p.m., then proceed:

eastward along Kenilworth;
north- and eastward along Griblaston Lane;
northward along Stoney Stanton Road;
eastward along Highway 7;
northward along Bur Oak Avenue; and then
westward along Church Street to Country Glen Road, ending their trips.

The buses arrive on Church Street and Country Glen Road at 7:37 a.m. and 3:40 p.m.

These westbound buses pick up passengers at stops

  • on Kenilworth Gate at Outerbanks Drive and Michelina Terrace,
  • on Stoney Stanton Road at Highway 7,
  • on Bur Oak Avenue north of Highway 7 and
  • on Church Street west of Bur Oak Avenue.

YRT is also adjusting the schedule of the route.

2A 14th Avenue

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT extends the route of the eastbound bus that leaves Denison Street at Woodbine Avenue at 7:03 a.m. Mondays to Fridays. After arriving at Markham Stouffville Hospital, the bus continues further west along Church Street to Markham District High School, ending its trip at 7:57 a.m.

The westbound bus that usually starts its trip on Church Street across from Markham Stouffville Hospital at 3:18 p.m., instead starts on Church Street beside Markham District High School at 3:08 p.m. The bus operates eastward along Church Street to Ninth Line, before resuming the regular route southward along Ninth.

22 King City

Starting Tuesday, September 4, the north- and westbound bus that leaves Maple GO Station at 6:49 a.m. Mondays to Fridays continues further westward along Sideroad 15 after arriving at Seneca College’s King Campus. The bus ends its trip at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic High School at 7:44 a.m.

East- and southbound buses leave St. Thomas of Villanova at 7:49 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. They end their trips in Maple GO Station bus terminal at 8:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.

50 Queensway

Starting Sunday, September 2, YRT is increasing service along this route, — a route it just introduced in July — with buses operating seven days a week, partly replacing GO Transit buses operating along the 69 Sutton / Newmarket route. (The last GO buses operated along that route Saturday, September 1.)

It’s also extending the route so that buses operate between Pefferlaw or Sutton and Newmarket.

Most buses serve the complete route between Sutton and the Newmarket GO Bus Terminal, seven days a week, but several continue to Pefferlaw Mondays to Fridays and two proceed to Pefferlaw Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Most buses, except those operating early Monday-to-Friday mornings, also serve the Glenwoods Park ‘n’ Ride in Keswick. YRT passengers from Keswick, Jackson’s Point, Sutton and other communities east and north of Keswick can also transfer to buses operating along GO’s new 67 Keswick / North York route at the carpool lot.

Most southbound buses start their trips at High and Burke Streets in Sutton, then proceed:

northeastward along Burke;
northwestward along North Street;
southwestward along East Street
northwestward along High Street Sutton;
northward along Dalton Road;
west- and southward along Metro Road;
eastward along Simcoe Avenue;
southward along The Queensway South;
eastward along Glenwoods Avenue;
southward along Woodbine Avenue;
west- and northward through the Keswick “Park ‘n’ Ride” carpool lot;
southward along The Queensway South and Leslie Street;
westward along Davis Drive and Davis Drive West;
southward along Eagle Street West; and then
westward into Newmarket GO Bus Terminal,
ending their trips.

Some southbound buses start their trips on Pefferlaw Road at Pineview Court beside the fire hall, then proceed:

northward along Pefferlaw;
westward along Regional Highway 48; and then
northwestward along High Street Sutton to East Street; and then
continuing along the regular route towards Newmarket GO Station.

Most buses reverse the route to High and Burke Streets then end their trips.

Some buses continue beyond Sutton:

southeastward along High;
eastward along Regional Highway 48;
southward along Lakeridge Road; and then
west- and northward along Pefferlaw Road to Pineview Court,
ending their trips.

Starting Tuesday, September 4, buses that connect with GO Transit trains operate into the new Aurora GO Station bus loop.

YRT diverts the southbound bus that leaves Stone Road west of Bayview Avenue at 7:29 a.m. Mondays to Fridays along the regular school route to Cardinal Carter Catholic High School. It arrives in the Cardinal Carter loop at 8:06 a.m.

It’s also diverting the northbound bus that formerly left McClelland Way east of Bathurst Street at 2:49 p.m. Instead, the bus starts its trip in the Cardinal Carter Catholic High School loop at 2:35 p.m.

It’s also diverting the same bus along the regular school route to Dr. G. W. Williams High School. It arrives on Dunning Avenue beside the school at 3:12 p.m.

The eastbound bus that leaves Newmarket GO Bus Terminal at 7:24 a.m. Mondays to Fridays operates along its regular route to Bristol Road and Stiver Crescent, then diverts:

south- and westward along Stiver;
southward along Carlisle Street;
eastward along London Road; and then
northward along Dorchester Street to Bristol,
resuming its regular route eastward along Bristol.

This bus skips its regular stops

  • on Bristol Road at Elman Crescent [east] and Elman Crescent [west].

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT decreases the hours of service so that buses only operate along the main 22 branch Mondays to Fridays during rush hours and all day Saturdays.

Buses continue to operate along the 22A branch at all times Mondays to Saturdays, and, in fact, YRT is increasing the frequency of service along that branch of the route.

Passengers traveling between Seneca College’s King Campus and King City, Maple and York University from about 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays must board buses operating along the 88 Bathurst route to connect with buses operating along the 22A branch at Bathurst Street and King Road.

YRT is also increasing the frequency of service along the 22 branch, extending the route of some buses operating along the route and making another change to service along the route.

Buses serve the stops every 50 minutes, instead of every 2½ hours, from about 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. They serve the stops every 55 minutes, instead of every 70 minutes, after 8 p.m.

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT resumes the short-turn branch of the route, with some buses operating only between York University’s Keele Campus and Richmond Hill Centre Terminal Mondays to Fridays from about 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

By operating the short-turn branch, YRT increases the frequency of service Mondays to Fridays during rush hours. Buses drop off or pick up passengers at vivastations along the entire route between York and McCowan Road every 15 minutes.

Between York University and Richmond Hill Centre Terminal, where YRT operates the short-turn service, buses serve vivastations every 7.5 minutes during rush hours.

Between McCowan vivastation and Richmond Hill Centre, where buses serving both the Viva purple and Viva pink routes operate, buses serve vivastations every 7.5 minutes during rush hours.

Viva orange

YRT increases the frequency of service seven days a week.

Starting Sunday, September 2, buses drop off and pick up passengers at vivastations along the entire route every 30 minutes Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Between Martin Grove vivastation and York University, where buses operate along both YRT’s Viva orange route and Brampton Transit’s 501 Züm Queen route, buses serve stations every 15 minutes.

Starting Tuesday, September 4, buses serve vivastations every 20 minutes Mondays to Fridays before 7 a.m., every 15 minutes during rush hours, every 20 minutes from about 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and from about 7 until 10 p.m. and every 30 minutes after 10 p.m.

Revising seasonal service


20 Jane - Concord

Since Canada’s Wonderland is now only open Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, Friday, August 31 was the last day that YRT diverted to the Wonderland Terminal Mondays to Fridays.

Starting Saturday, September 8, the last southbound bus leaves Wonderland Terminal at 10:56 p.m. Saturdays, while the last northbound bus leaves Wonderland at 11:22 p.m., reflecting the shorter operating hours at Canada’s Wonderland.

Since fewer passengers are traveling to and from the park, YRT is also decreasing the frequency of service along the route.

Starting Sunday, September 2, buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route every 43 minutes, instead of every 29 minutes Sundays and holidays.

Starting Saturday, September 8, buses serve the stops every 30 minutes, instead of every 29 minutes from about noon until 6:30 p.m. Saturdays. Buses continue to operate every 29 minutes before noon and after 6:30 p.m.

Since fewer passengers travel to and from Canada’s Wonderland after in the fall, starting Sunday, September 1, YRT decreases the frequency of service along the route Sundays and holidays. Buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route every 27 minutes, instead of every 21 minutes.

Since Canada’s Wonderland is decreasing its service hours, starting Sunday, September 2, buses only operate along the route Saturdays and Sundays.

Throughout September, the last southbound bus leaves Wonderland at 8 p.m. Saturdays. The last southbound bus leaves Wonderland at 10 p.m. Sundays.

Throughout October, the last southbound bus leaves Wonderland at 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Adjusting the schedules of current routes


32 Aurora South

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT adjusts the Monday-to-Friday schedules to reflect actual travel times. You may need more time to complete your trip during morning rush hours, but less time during afternoon rush hours.

It’s also adjusting the times of buses that connect with GO Transit trains and Aurora GO Station buses that operate to and from Seneca College’s King Campus.

The southbound bus that formerly left Stone Road west of Bayview Avenue at 7:29 a.m. Mondays to Fridays leaves, instead, four minutes earlier at 7:25 a.m. The bus serves most stops along the route four minutes earlier than formerly, but also diverts to serve Cardinal Carter Catholic High School, arriving in the Cardinal Carter loop at 8:08 a.m.

The southbound buses that formerly started service Monday-to-Friday mornings on Henderson Drive at Baldwin Road, start their trips, instead, on McClelland Way at Tamarac Trail.

The northbound bus that formerly ended its trip on Dunning Avenue beside Dr. G. W. Williams High School at 8:05 a.m. Mondays to Fridays, instead arrives three minutes later at 8:08 a.m.

The northbound bus that formerly started its trip on McClelland Way east of Bathurst Street at 2:49 p.m. Mondays to Fridays starts, instead, at Cardinal Carter Catholic High School at 2:35 p.m.

The bus arrives in the Cardinal Carter loop at 7:53 a.m. and on Wellington Street West east of Murray Drive - just down the street from the school - at 8:03 a.m.

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT adjusts the Monday-to-Friday school-day morning trips. Buses leave their starting points later than formerly to meet new bell time at Dr. G.W. Williams High School. The first bus leaves Hartwell Way east of Bayview Avenue at 7:50 a.m. The second bus leaves Hollidge Boulevard west of Bayview at 7:51 a.m. Both buses arrive on Dunning Avenue east of Cameron Avenue - across the street from the school - at 8:08 a.m.

Starting Tuesday, September 4, YRT adjusts the schedules seven days a week to better reflect actual travel times.

However, you should expect longer trips Mondays to Fridays before 2:30 p.m. and all day Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

The eastbound bus that leaves Newmarket GO Bus Terminal at 2:25 p.m. Mondays to Fridays diverts to Sacred Heart Catholic Secondary School, so the bus serves stops east of the school three to seven minutes later than formerly. The bus ends its trip in the 404 Town Centre Terminal at 8:15 a.m.

The westbound bus that formerly left the 404 Town Centre at 2:24 p.m. Mondays to Fridays leaves, instead, one minute later at 2:25 p.m. The bus diverts to Sacred Heart and serves stops west of the school one to five minutes later than formerly. The bus ends its trip in the Newmarket GO Bus Terminal at 3 p.m.

YRT is also decreasing the frequency of service along the route and revising the route.
