Tomorrow, Sunday, November 25, York Region Transit is providing extra service to help get Canadian Football League fans get to and from the 100th Anniversary Grey Cup championship game.

Starting at noon, it’s extending Viva service across York Region to connect passengers to the Finch GO Bus Terminal and other TTC services.

It will also add more buses to its afternoon and evening service, with late-night bus service available from the Finch GO Bus Terminal.

During the extended Grey Cup services, all Viva buses operating along Yonge Street will be the higher-capacity 60-foot articulated Viva vehicles.

YRT will also extend the hours of its call centre to 7 p.m.

(Note that the Richmond Hill Santa Claus Parade affects Viva blue service between Elgin Mills Road and 16th Avenue / Carrville Road. YRT is detouring the buses from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.)
