Metrolinx hosts another Eglinton Crosstown LRT meeting,
on extending the tunnel eastward, January 31

Eglinton Crosstown logo.png Metrolinx plans to extend the tunnel portion of the future Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line to just east of Don Mills Road. It’s hosting another public meeting on the plan next Thursday, January 31.

Last month, Metrolinx hosted two public meetings to present revised plans for the east and western ends of the tunnel for the future . This event follows up on an earlier public meeting that it organized in December. During that meeting, staff updated members of the public on the progress of the project, presented their proposal to change the tunnel alignment and received your comments and ideas on those changes. During next week’s meeting, Metrolinx will share the input it received and discuss next steps.

The event starts at 7 p.m. with an opportunity to view displays and speak one-on-one with staff, A staff presentation and question-and-answer session follow at 8 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there.

The event takes place:

Thursday, January 31
From 7 until 9 p.m.
Ontario Science Centre,
Telus Conference Room
770 Don Mills Road
