Construction at Weston GO Station affects motorists, starting February 4

Starting Monday, February 4, GO Transit contractors start a project to improve Weston GO Station.

The work mostly affects commuters who drive to and from the station. From Monday, February 4 at 7 p.m. until Thursday, February 7 at 6 a.m., the work closes the east lane at the passenger drop-off and pick-up area — the “Kiss ‘n’ Ride”. However, the rest of the Kiss ‘n’ Ride will remain open. From Friday, February 8 at 7 p.m. Monday, February 11 at 6 a.m., the work closes the southeast corner of the parking lot. From Tuesday, February 12 at 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday, February 18, the east Kiss ‘n’ Ride lane and a portion of the pedestrian plaza will be closed.

(Most of the work takes place when trains are not serving the station, so the amount of vehicular traffic should be low.)
