No more Brampton Transit paper passes, tickets
starting January 1, 2013

You can’t buy paper Brampton Transit passes starting New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1, 2014 and drivers will no longer accept paper passes and tickets as fare.

(Special purpose paper tickets and GTA weekly passes will still be available.)

After September 15, BT pass agents will no longer sell paper weekly or monthly passes.

Brampton Transit is encouraging passengers to buy and use PRESTO cards to pay their fares when they board buses. You can buy your PRESTO card online, over the phone and at all Brampton Transit terminals and facilities.

If you currently use paper passes, starting Thursday, August 1, you can get your PRESTO card at any Brampton Transit Terminal or facility and BT will waive the $6 fee to issue the card when you load a period pass! (This promotion to help passengers get more familiar with PRESTO limits the cards to just one per passenger.)
