Highway 7 East rapidway construction,
September 13 to 20

Metrolinx and York Region contractors continue to work on the project to build a rapidway — bus-only lanes in the centre of the roadway.

This weekend, the work blocks the northbound ramp onto Highway 404 for westbound traffic on Highway 7.

Contractors are closing the ramp from 10 p.m. Friday, September 13 until 5 a.m. Monday, September 16. Expect noise. Westbound motorists must access northbound Highway 404 from 16th Avenue. Two east- and westbound lanes remain open.
