Buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route about every 30 minutes Mondays to Fridays during rush hours and every hour at all other times of the week.

At south end of the route, between Burlington GO Station and Fairview Street at Walkers Line, where buses operating along both the 21 Fairview and 25 Walkers routes operate, buses serve stops every 15 minutes Mondays to Fridays during rush hours and every 30 minutes at all other times of the week.

Passengers traveling to and from Walkers Line enjoy extra service to and from Appleby GO Station Mondays to Fridays during rush hours. Friday, November 1 is the last day that Burlington Transit operated buses along the route, ending an era of bus service along this section of Lakeshore Road that’s continued since the Toronto - Hamilton intercity buses started in the late 1920s. BT still operates buses along other parts of Lakeshore Road.

53D Spruce dial-a-ride

Friday, November 1 is the last day that Burlington Transit operated buses along the route. BT buses no longer operate along Spruce Avenue at any time of the week.

50D Spruce / Hampton Heath dial-a-ride

Saturday, November 2 is the last day that Burlington Transit operated buses along the route.

Starting Sunday, November 3, BT operates buses along the new 25 Walkers route seven days a week, linking the Highway 407 / Dundas “Park ‘n’ Ride” carpool lot with Burlington GO Station.

2 Brant North

Starting Monday, November 4, Burlington Transit extends the path of most buses operating along the route to the Highway 407 / Dundas “Park ‘n’ Ride” carpool lot Mondays to Fridays during rush hours. It’s designating these buses as serving the 2X branch of the route.

1 Plains

Starting Monday, November 4, Burlington Transit designates all buses operating to and from Aldershot GO Station as serving the “1X” branch. It’s also revising the hours of service that buses divert to and from the GO station, with buses only serving Aldershot Mondays to Fridays before 7 p.m.

4 Central

Sunday, October 27 is the last day that Burlington Transit operated buses along the 4B branch of the route Sundays. Instead, it operates buses along the entire route, except for the stop at Burlington Mall at all times of the week, except Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours.

Starting Tuesday, November 5, BT buses operating along the new 300 Community Connection route provide hourly service to and from Burlington Mall Tuesdays and Thursdays from about 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Friday, November 1 is the last day that Burlington Transit operated buses along the 4A branch of the route Mondays to Fridays during rush hours. BT no longer provides service along the route during morning rush hours. At all other times of the route, including afternoon rush hours, BT buses serve the entire route, with westbound buses looping east- and southward along Pinedale Avenue.

Starting Monday, November 4, BT introduces the new 40A Hampton Heath - Pinedale and 44 Longmoor rotue to provide extra service along parts of the route during morning rush hours.

10 New - Maple

Friday, November 1 is the last day that Burlington Transit operated buses along the 10A branch of the route, which diverted every second bus from the main route to serve stops on Pinedale Avenue and Hampton Heath Road Mondays to Fridays during rush hours.

Instead, to replace this service, it operates buses along the new 40A Hampton Heath - Pinedale route northbound along Hampton Heath and north- and westbound along Pinedale during morning rush hours. It also operates buses along the new 40B Pinedale - Hampton Heath route east- and southbound along Pinedale and southbound along Hampton Heath during afternoon rush hours.

BT buses operating along the 4 Central route continue to provide service east- and southward along Pinedale at all times of the week, except Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours.

81 North Service

Friday, November 1 is the last day that Burlington Transit operated buses along the 81A and 81B branches of the route Monday-to-Friday midday.

Starting Monday, November 4, BT operates buses along the new 83 North Service route to partially replace this midday service. BT no longer provides service along North Service Road between Sutton Drive and Appleby Line.

4 Central

Starting Sunday, November 3, eastbound buses operate east- and southward along Pinedale Drive (and then westward along New Street and northward along Appleby Drive) seven days a week, except Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours.

Westbound buses do not serve Pinedale at any time of the week.

Starting Monday, November 4, Burlington Transit introduces service along the new 40B Hampton Heath - Pinedale route to provide service north- and westward along Pinedale Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours. The buses carry Pinedale passengers directly to Appleby GO Station.

Also starting Monday, November 4, Burlington Transit introduces service along the new 40A Pinedale - Hampton Heath route to add more service to the 4 Central route along Pinedale. Buses operating along the 40A Pinedale - Hampton Heath route carry passengers from Appleby GO Station directly to Pinedale, operating east- and **southward along the street.

Burlington Transit is also decreasing service and decreasing the frequency of service along the route at various times of the week and revising the path of the route.

6 Headon

Starting Sunday, November 3, Burlington Transit renames the former 6 Headon Forest route as the 6 Headon route. It’s also revising the path of the route so that buses no longer serve stops on Pinemeadow Drive and extending the path so that buses start and end their trips at the Highway 407 / Dundas “Park ‘n’ Ride” carpool lot.

Instead, Burlington Transit is introducing new service along Headon Forest Drive between Pinemeadow Drive and revising the paths of several routes, including the 6 Headon route, to increase service to the carpool lot.

Burlington Transit is also decreasing service along a different part of the route and revising the path of the route.

80 Harvester

Starting Monday, November 4, Burlington Transit adds frequent westbound service early Monday-to-Friday mornings between Burlington Transit’s garage and Burlington GO Station. Buses opeate about every 20 minutes between 5 and 6 a.m. along the western end of the route.

1 Plains

Starting Monday, November 4, Burlington Transit operates later buses along the route Mondays to Saturdays. Buses continue to drop off or pick up passengers at stops along the route until just after midnight all six days.

Since BT is providing later service along this route, it’s also introducing later service along the new 50 Burlington South, 51 Burlington Northeast and 52 Burlington Northwest late-evening routes to help passengers travel to destinations throughout Burlington after 11 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays.

Starting Sunday, November 3, buses operate along different paths as they head to and from Burlington GO Station. Buses heading toward the station no longer operate northbound along Maple Avenue between Plains Road East and Fairview Street or eastbound along Plains Road.

Buses heading away from the station start dropping off or pick up passengers at these stops

• on Fairview Street across from Burlington Fire Services headquarters and at Brant Street.

Burlington Transit is also decreasing service along the route at other times of the week. It’s also increasing the frequency of service along the route, revising the path of the route and making other changes to service along the route.

Sunday, October 27 is the last day that Burlington Transit operated buses along the 4B branch between Burlington Mall and Downtown Burlington Terminal Sundays.

Saturday, November 2 is the last day that Burlington Transit buses operating along all branches of the 4 Central route drop off or pick up passengers at stops on Teen Tour Way.

Starting Tuesday, November 5, Burlington Transit buses operating along the new 300 Community Connection route drop off or pick up passengers westbound on Teen Tour Way at Drury Lane and at the stop beside Burlington Mall. The buses only operate hourly Tuesdays and Thursdays from about 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The buses operating along the 300 Community Connection route also provide extra service along the 4 Central route between Downtown Burlington Terminal and Burlington Mall - but only eastward along only Tuesdays and Thursdays from about 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Starting Monday, November 4, Burlington Transit no longer operates buses along the 4 Central route Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours. To partially replace morning rush-hour service along the route, BT is introducing the new 44 Longmoor route, serving eastbound stops along the 4 Central route between Cumberland Avenue at Prospect Street and Longmoor Drive at Appleby Line. The buses then continue directly to Appleby GO Station.

Also starting Monday, November 4, Burlington Transit introduces service along the new 40b Hampton Heath - Pinedale route to provide service north- and westward along Pinedale Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours. The buses carry Pinedale passengers directly to Appleby GO Station.

• on Ontario Street at Nelson and Burlington Avenues, Blathwayte Lane and Locust and Brant Streets.

Instead, eastbound buses drop off and pick up passengers at stops

• on Lakeshore Road beside #1340 Lakeshore, east of Discovery Landing and across from Burlington Avenue and Locust Street.

Westbound buses no longer drop off or pick up passengers at these stops:

• on Ontario Street west of Brant Street at Hurd and Burlington Avenues and across from Brock Street and
• on Maple Avenue across from Elgin Street and at North Shore Boulevard East.

Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops

• on Lakeshore Road at Brant and Locust Streets and Burlington and Nelson Avenues.

Starting Sunday, November 3, Burlington Transit renames the former 6 Headon Forest route as the 6 Headon route. It’s also revising the path of the route so that buses no longer serve stops on Pinemeadow Drive.

• on Guelph Line at Upper Middle Road and
• on Upper Middle Road across from the Super Centre and Upland Drive and at Centennial Drive.

• on Guelph Line at the Super Centre and Pinemeadow Drive and

10 New - Maple

Starting Sunday, November 3, buses operating along the 10 New - Maple route no longer serve stops both ways around the wide loop of New Street between Appleby Line and Burloak Drive, Burloak between New and Lakeshore Road, Lakeshore between Burloak and Appleby and Appleby between Lakeshore and New.

Instead, buses operating along the new 20A Lakeshore - Burloak and 20B Burloak - Lakeshore routes replace the service east of Appleby Line.

Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours only, most southbound buses divert further to Burlington GO Station further north along the route to provide a more direct connection to GO Transit trains for passengers traveling from North Burlington and another travel option for passengers traveling from the GO station to downtown Burlington. These buses serve the GO station twice on each trip.

The buses operate along their regular route to Guelph Line and Glenwood School Drive, then detour:

westward along Glenwood School;
west-, south-, west- and southward along Queensway to the north loop of Burlington GO Station, then continuing
north-, east-, north- and eastward along Queensway; and then
eastward along Glenwood School to Guelph,
resuming their regular route southward along Guelph.

Starting Monday, November 4, Burlington Transit designates these trips as the 3X branch of the route.

Burlington Transit is also increasing and decreasing the frequency of service along the route at different times of the week and making other changes to service along the route.

6 Headon

Starting Sunday, November 3, Burlington Transit renames the former 6 Headon Forest route as the 6 Headon route. It’s also revising the path of the route so that buses no longer serve stops on Pinemeadow Drive and extending the path so that buses start and end their trips at the Highway 407 / Dundas “Park ‘n’ Ride” carpool lot.

Southbound buses start their trips in the bus loop at the carpool lot, then proceed:

east- and southward** along Northampton Boulevard to Dundas Street,
resuming their usual route eastward along Dundas.

The buses then continue on their usual route to Headon Forest Drive and Pinemeadow Drive, then proceed:

southward along Headon Forest to Upper Middle Road,
resuming their regular route eastward along Upper Middle.

Southbound buses no longer serve stops

• on Pinemeadow Drive at Fallingbrook Court and Upland Drive,
• on Guelph Line at Upper Middle Road and
• on Upper Middle Road across from the Super Centre and Upland Drive and at Centennial Drive.

Northbound buses operate along their usual route to Upper Middle Road and Headon Forest Drive, then proceed:

northward along Headon Forest to Pinemeadow Drive,
resuming their regular route northward along Headon Forest.

The buses continue northward along their usual route to Northampton Boulevard and Dundas Street, then proceed:

north- and westward along Northampton to the bus loop at the carpool lot,
ending their trips.

Northbound buses no longer serve stops

• on Upper Middle Road at Upland Drive and the Super Centre,
• on Guelph Line at the Super Centre and Pinemeadow Drive and
• on Pinemeadow Drive at Upland, Trailwood and Headon Forest Drives.

10 New - Maple

Friday, November 1 was the last day that buses operated along the 10A branch, serving stops along Pinedale Avenue and Hampton Heath Road.

Saturday, November 2 was the last day that buses operating along the 10 New - Maple route stopped at the Mapleview Centre or served stops both ways around the wide loop of New Street between Appleby Line and Burloak Drive, Burloak between New and Lakeshore Road, Lakeshore between Burloak and Appleby and Appleby between Lakeshore and New.

All buses heading toward Appleby GO Station operate along their current route to New Street and Appleby Line, then proceed:

along their regular route northward along Appleby.

Buses heading toward Burlington GO Station operate along their regular route to Appleby Line and New Street, then proceed:

along their regular route westward along New.

Burlington Transit is also decreasing service along parts of the route.

Starting Sunday, November 3, Burlington Transit revises the path of the route so that:

• buses no longer operate to and from Aldershot GO Station all day Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and Mondays to Fridays after 7 p.m.;
• buses no longer operate to and from Mapleview Centre terminal at any time;
• buses operate along different paths when operating to and from Burlington GO Station.

north-, east- and northward along Queensway Drive;
westward along Plains Road East;
southward along Maple Avenue;

southeastward and eastward along York Boulevard (Hamilton);
eastward along Wilson Street;
southward along Catharine Street North; and then
westward along King Street East to James Street North,
ending their trips.

Burlington-bound buses start their trips on King Street East east of James Street North in downtown Hamilton, then proceed:

eastward along King Streets East and West;
northward along Bay Street North;
westward along Cannon Street West;
northwestward along York Boulevard;
eastward along Plains Roads West and East and Fairview Street;

Starting Monday, November 4, Burlington Transit revises the path of buses operating toward Burlington GO Station.

Buses heading toward the station no longer operate northbound along Maple Avenue between Plains Road East and Fairview Street or eastbound along Plains Road East between Maple and Brant Street.

Instead, they operate along their usual route to Fairview Street and Maple Avenue, then proceed:

eastward along Fairview; and then
northward along Brant Street to Plains Road East,
resuming their usual route eastward along Plains East.

Buses heading away from the GO station continue to operate along their regular route.

Burlington Transit is also decreasing service, decreasing the frequency of service and making other changes to service along the route.

11 Sutton - Alton

Starting Sunday, November 3, Burlington Transit renames the former 11 Sutton route as the 11 Sutton - Alton route and extends the path of the route through the Alton Village neighbourhood to the Highway 407 / Dundas “Park ‘n’ Ride” carpool lot, replacing part of the former 15 Walkers route.

Southbound buses start their trips in the bus loop at the carpool lot, then proceed:

east- and southward along Northampton Boulevard;
eastward along Dundas Street;
northward along Tim Dobbie Drive;
eastward along Thomas Alton Boulevard; and then
southward along Walkers Line to the Power Centre (Walmart),
resuming their usual route southward along Walkers.

Northbound buses reverse the southbound routing.

Burlington Transit is also increasing and decreasing service along the route at different times of the week.

Southbound buses start their trips on Appleby Line south of Dundas Street beside the Cornerstone Centre, then proceed:

southward along Appleby; and then
southwestward along Heron Way through the Millcroft Centre to Upper Middle Road,
resuming their usual route westward along Upper Middle.

Northbound buses operate along their usual route to Upper Middle Road and Appleby Line, then proceed:

eastward along Upper Middle;
northward along Sutton Drive;
westward along Dundas Street; and then
southward along Appleby Line to a stop just south of Dundas beside the Cornerstone Centre,
ending their trips.

Starting Monday, November 4, Burlington Transit operates buses along two branches of the route. All buses operating along the route serve the 1X branch Mondays to Fridays before 7 p.m. All buses operating along the route serve the main 1 branch Mondays to Fridays after 7 p.m. and all day Saturdays, Sundays and holidays

Buses operating along the 1X branch divert from the main route at Plains and Waterdown Roads to operate:

northward along Waterdown;
eastward along the Aldershot GO Station service road;
stopping to drop off or pick up passengers at the station; then continuing
westward along the service road; and then
southward along Waterdown to Plains,
resuming the usual route east- or westward along Plains.
