affects Brampton Transit, GO buses

Update — Monday, January 5, 10:07 p.m.: Construction has ended and regular service has resumed.

Update — Thursday, October 30, 5:26 p.m.: Construction continues until further notice.

Region of Peel contractors continue to work on a project to build new water-mains and sanitary sewers along Mayfield Road (Regional Road 14).

Starting Monday, October 6, they’ll be working at the intersection of Mayfield with Hurontario Street, blocking the southbound curb lane at the northwest corner of the intersection.

Brampton Transit and GO Transit will relocate their common stop from the northwest corner to the southwest corner, while construction continues.

Buses operating along BT’s 24 Van Kirk and GO’s 37 Orangeville / Brampton routes drop off or pick up passengers at the stop.

Construction continues until October 31 until further notice.
