GO revises routes and services,
January 3

GO Transit is adding two extra trips along the 21 Milton train line — an eastbound train Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours and a westbound train during afternoon rush hours.

That’s the big news as GO revises its routes and services, starting today, Saturday, January 3.

Since GO is operating extra trains along the Milton line, it’s decreasing service along the parallel 21 Milton / Toronto bus route. Nevertheless, it’s also increasing service along the route Monday-to-Friday midday, when trains don’t operate.

It’s also adding extra service to its 19 Oakville / North York, 27 Milton / North York, 63 King City / Toronto, 65 Newmarket / Toronto and, especially, 71 Stouffville / Toronto bus routes.

It’s also revising service along the 67 Keswick / North York route, so that buses operate along the new section of Highway 404 north of Green Lane in Newmarket. The buses no longer operate into the urbanized area of Keswick, but, instead, serve “Park ‘n’ Ride” carpool lots beside the 404.

GO is revising service along these routes: 15 McMaster, 16 Hamilton / Toronto express, 19 Oakville / Finch, 20 Oakvillle / Milton, 21 Milton train, 21 Milton / Toronto bus, 25 Waterloo / Mississauga, 27 Milton / North York, 29 Guelph / Mississauga, 30 Kitchener / Bramalea, 31 Guelph / Georgetown / Toronto bus, 37 Orangeville / Brampton, 39 Guelph / Bramalea, 45 Mississauga / York U, 46 Oakville / York U, 47 Hamilton / York U, 48 Guelph / York U, 51 Pickering / York U, 52 Oshawa / York U, 54 Markham / York U, 61 Richmond Hill / Toronto bus, 65 Barrie train, 65 Newmarket / Toronto bus, 66 Newmarket / North York express, 67 Keswick / North York, 71 Stouffville / Toronto bus, 88 Peterborough / Oshawa, 90 Lakeshore East bus, 91 Newcastle / Oshawa express, 92 Oshawa / Yorkdale, 93 Durham College / UOIT / Scarborough express.
