Some PRESTO services unavailable
January 23 and January 24

PRESTO is upgrading its system, it says, “to prepare for the launch of the Union Pearson Express service this spring”.

Upgrading the system affects some PRESTO services Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24:

  • On-line or phone transactions will require more time to process and can take as much as 48 hours longer to be added to your card;
  • Expect a delay in updating the transaction history.

Services resume as normal early Sunday, January 25, in time for the morning commute.

You can continue using your PRESTO card to travel during the upgrade and, hopefully, you pre-loaded your card with funds before tomorrow, Thursday, January 22, so that you have sufficient funds.

PRESTO had scheduled another outage last weekend, from 10 p.m. Thursday, January 15 until early Monday, January 19.
