"Signal problems" disrupting subway, RT today

Update — 12:33 p.m.: Regular service has resumed.

The TTC is reporting two major, related problems on its rapid transit network today.

It’s suspended service between Kennedy and Warden stations along the 2 Bloor - Danforth subway line due to “hydro-related signal problems at Kennedy Station”. It’s operating shuttle buses to replace the subway between the two stations.

It’s also cancleing service along the 3 Scarborough rapid transit line due to the same signal problems at Kennedy. Buses area also replacing that service.

Note that the TTC doesn’t have a lot of spare buses lying around. If it’s replacing rapid transit lines with multiple buses, it may be borrowing buses from your regular route. So, expect delays on many bus routes this morning, too, especially routes in Scarborough and East Toronto.
