Pritchard Avenue construction:
TTC detours, March 24 to April 7



The City of Toronto is closing:

  • Pritchard Avenue between Jane Street and Castleton Avenue

to accommodate crews who are repairing the sewers.

Starting Tuesday, March 24, the TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 79A Scarlett Rd via Pritchard / Foxwell.

From 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 24 until 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Foxwell Avenue and Jane Street, then detour:

eastward along Woolner Avenue; and then
southward along Rockcliffe Boulevard and Castleton Avenue to Pritchard Avenue,
resuming their regular route southward along Castleton.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Pritchard Avenue east of Jane Street and at Batavia and Mould Avenues.

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Rockcliffe Boulevard at Corbett Avenue.

Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Pritchard Avenue at Mould Avenue, across from Batavia Avenue and at Jane Street.

Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Rockcliffe Boulevard across from Corbett Avenue.
