Transit Alliance hosts debate, June 16

TransitAlliance logo.jpgWhich is more important: transit operations or infrastructure expansion? Do we need to invest more in one than the other? Are both essential to creating vibrant communities?

This Tuesday, June 16, the Transit Alliance is hosting “The Big Debate” so we can find out. The event pits experts in operations and infrastructure who will debate, discuss and defend these questions and many more.

Panelists include:

Keynote speaker, Diane Francis, will kick off the event, while Bruce Crombie of the Transit Alliance will moderate.

You have to buy a ticket to attend, but they cost just $10 for members of the public. You can learn more about buying tickets here.

It connects the transit industry in Southern Ontario and shares knowledge, ideas, and information by creating informative events. It works to educate the public about successes in the transit industry — both in operations and infrastructure.
