Starting Monday, June 29, MiWay offers one-dollar cash fares to seniors as a six-month pilot program.

During off-peak hours, passengers 65 years or older can pay just $1:

  • Mondays to Fridays from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and after 7 p.m.
  • Anytime Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

MiWay drivers may ask senior riders to present a MiWay photo identification card or another valid photo ID card to prove your age and take advantage of the one-dollar fare.

You can pay just one dollar aboard all MiWay buses except those operating along the 88 Wonderland express route. You have to pay full seniors fare when boarding TTC buses operating through Mississauga along the 52 Lawrence West route.
