Sundays, July 12, July 19 and July 26, the TTC is operating the 1 Yonge - University and 2 Bloor - Danforth subway lines earlier than usually.
Those three Sundays, it’s starting service along the two lines around 6 a.m., as it does all other days of the week. (Usually subway starts about 9 a.m. Sundays.) The earlier service theoretically benefits visitors attending Pan Am Games events, but everyone will appreciate the earlier start to service.
It’s also temporarily postponing its long-term late-evening / early-morning project to upgrade the tunnel liners along the 1 Yonge - University line north of Lawrence Station. Subway service continues along the entire line between Finch and Downsview Stations every night after midnight.
Transit Toronto has also heard from some readers that the TTC is also revising service along the 300 Bloor - Danforth and 320 Yonge overnight routes since the subway is available to passengers earlier than usually. However, we have not been able to confirm this.
