Greenwood Station area construction:
TTC detour, August 5 and 6



Update — Tuesday, August 4, 6:01 a.m.: The City has postponed construction by one day, so the TTC is similarly delaying its detour.


The City of Toronto is repairing sidewalks, curbs and roadways in the neighbourhood of Greenwood Station. The work may prevent TTC buses from accessing the bus loop at the station Tuesday, August 4 and Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while work proceeds:

  • 31 Greenwood.

Tuesday, August 4 andWednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6, southbound buses start their trips at a temporary stop on Linnsmore Crescent beside Greenwood Station, then proceed:

along their regular route, southward along Linnsmore.

Southbound buses skip their regular stop

  • in Greenwood Station bus loop.

Instead, southbound buses pick up passengers at a temporary stop

  • on Linnsmore Crescent beside Greenwood Station.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Greenwood and Danforth Avenues, then detour:

northward along Greenwood;
eastward along Strathmore Boulevard; and then
southward along Linnsmore Crescent to beside Greenwood Station,
ending their trips.

Northbound buses skip their regular stop

  • in Greenwood Station bus loop.

Instead, northbound buses drop off passengers at a temporary stop

  • on Linnsmore Crescent beside Greenwood Station.
