Update — Sunday, February 21, 5:54 a.m.: Construction has ended and buses have resumed regular service.
The Town of Richmond Hill is closing:
- Sunset Beach Road between Park Crescent and English Oak Drive
during a project to rebuild the roadway, starting Wednesday, August 5.
York Region Transit is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:
- 84 Oak Ridges.
Construction on Sunset Beach Boulevard continues until further notice.

Starting Wednesday, August 5, buses operate along their regular route to Sunset Beach Road and Park Crescent [west], then detour:
southward along Park;
westward along Nantucket Drive; and then
northward along English Oak Drive to Sunset Beach,
resuming their regular route westward along Sunset Beach.Buses skip their regular stops
- on Sunset Beach Road across from Park Crescent [west], east of Jacinta Court and at Dunn Drive.
