TTC Orion V 9400 Series night charter,
August 30

For fans of TTC buses — and fans of Orion V buses, in particular — Transit Toronto reader Larry Batzakis is chartering one of the buses for a night-time tour of west-end Toronto.

The goal is to travel along the “Blue Night Network” — the overnight routes — before the TTC revises the entire network early Labour Day, Monday, September 7.

The charter bus leaves Bishop Avenue outside of Finch Station this Sunday, August 30 at 8 p.m. It visits Blue Night and regular routes in the west end of the city until about 1 a.m. Monday. The bus then returns to Bishop Avenue. The cash fare is $50.

The tour features an Orion V 9400 series bus, like this one parked on Pleasant Boulevard outside of St. Clair Station. Larry Batzakis shot this view of #9432 on August 19, 2015.
