Eglinton East hydro work:
TTC detour, October 17, 18

The City of Toronto is closing:

  • Eglinton Avenue East, westbound lanes, between Thermos Road and Warden Avenue

overnight tonight and tomorrow during Toronto Hydro activities on the north side of the street.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along these routes, while the lanes are closed:

  • 34 Eglinton East; and
  • 334 Eglinton East overnight.

Eastbound buses operate along their regular route.

From 10 p.m., Saturday, October 17 until 5 a.m., Sunday, October 18 and from 10 p.m., Sunday, until 5 a.m. Monday, October 19, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Eglinton Avenue East and Thermos Road, then detour:

northward along Thermos;
westward along Ashtonbee Road; and then
southward along Warden Avenue to Eglinton East,
resuming their regular route westward along Eglinton.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops:

  • on Eglinton Avenue East across from #2001 Eglinton East, at Prudham Gate and Warden Avenue.

Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Warden Avenue at Eglinton Avenue East.
