Bramalea Terminal construction:
Brampton Transit, GO buses detouring

Starting Monday, October 19, the Region of Peel is rebuilding and restoring the ramp to the terminal entrance into / exit from Bramalea Terminal off Central Park Drive, blocking the ramp to Brampton Transit and GO Transit buses.

You can view a map of the closed ramp here. (.pdf)

Brampton Transit buses operating along these routes detour along Team Canada Drive, instead of Central Park Drive, when entering or exiting the terminal:

  • 8 Centre;
  • 9 Vodden;
  • 10 South Industrial;
  • 12 Grenoble;
  • 13 Avondale;
  • 16 Southgate;
  • 17 Howden;
  • 19 Fernforest;
  • 20 / 20A East Industrial;
  • 115 Airport express;
  • 205 St. Thomas Aquinas high school special;
  • 207 Mayfield high school special;
  • 208 Mayfield high school special; and
  • 217 St. Thomas Aquinas high school special.

BT is closing bus bays #s 9 and 18 at the far east end of the south platform during construction. BT is rearranging the stops in the terminal, with some buses dropping off or picking up passengers at different bus bays than usually:

  • 8 Centre: buses pick up passengers at bay #16, instead of #18. (Eastbound GO buses usually stop at bay #16).
  • 12 Grenoble: buses pick up passengers at bay #13, instead of #9. (Westbound GO buses usually stop at bay #16).
  • 205 St. Thomas Aquinas high school special: buses pick up passengers at bay #13, instead of #9. (Westbound GO buses usually stop at bay #16).
  • 217 St. Thomas Aquinas high school special: buses pick up passengers at bay #13, instead of #9. (Westbound GO buses usually stop at bay #16).

You can view the south platform temporary bus bays here. (.pdf)

The closure also affects GO Transit buses operating along these routes:

  • 32 Brampton / Trinity Common / North York; and
  • 36 Brampton / North York express.

GO buses don’t drop off or pick up passengers at their regular stops inside the terminal. Eastbound GO buses serve a temporary stop on Central Park Drive, just south of the terminal. Westbound buses serve a temporary stop on the southeast corner of Central Park Drive and Kensington Road.

Construction at Bramalea Terminal continues until October 25.
