The City of Toronto is closing:
- Finch Avenue East, two westbound lanes, between Au Large Boulevard / Seneca Hill Drive and Don Mills Road
during a project to replace the water-mains and upgrade water services.
Since Tuesday September 1, the work has delayed westbound buses operating along these routes:
- 39 Finch East;
- 139 Finch - Don Mills;
- 199 Finch rocket; and
- 339 Finch East overnight.
Construction and TTC delays on Finch Avenue East continue until June 2016.
Starting Friday, November 6, the TTC is detouring westbound buses operating along this route, to reduce the bottleneck of traffic in the area:
- 199 Finch rocket.
The TTC detour off Finch Avenue East continues until late December.

From Friday, November 6 until late December, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Finch Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue, then detour:
southward along Victoria Park;
westward along Van Horne Avenue; and then
northward along Don Mills Road to Finch East,
resuming their regular route westward along Finch.Westbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Finch Avenue East at Victoria Park Avenue and Au Large Boulevard.
Eastbound buses operate along their regular route.
