Rockcliffe Boulevard construction:
TTC detour starts November 16



The City of Toronto is closing:

  • Rockcliffe Boulevard between Alliance and Corbett Avenues

during a project to rebuild the roadway, starting Monday, November 16.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 71B Runnymede.

Construction on Rockcliffe Boulevard and TTC detours continue until December 6.

From Monday, November 16 until Sunday, December 6, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Rockcliffe Boulevard and Alliance Avenue, then detour:

westward along Alliance;
southward along Jane Street; and then
eastward along Pritchard Avenue to Castleton Avenue,
resuming their regular route southward along Castleton.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Rockcliffe Boulevard beside #400 Rockcliffe and at Corbett Avenue.

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Alliance Avenue at Dalrymple Drive and Jane Street,
  • on Jane Street at Haney Avenue, Foxwell Street and north of Pritchard Avenue and
  • on Pritchard Avenue east of Jane Street and at Batavia and Mould Avenues.

Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Rockcliffe Boulevard north of Corbett Avenue and at Rockcliffe Court and Alliance Avenue.

Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Pritchard Avenue at Mould Avenue, across from Batavia Avenue and at Jane Street and
  • on Jane Street at Woolner Avenue and across from Haney Avenue.
