BMO Field construction:
TTC detours, starting November 20

Exhibition Place is renovating and expanding BMO Field so that the stadium can host the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts next year.

Starting Friday, November 20, the work blocks access for TTC buses operating through the area.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while work proceeds:

  • 29C Dufferin.

(The daytime buses operate along the regular 329 Dufferin overnight route through Exhibition Place.)

Construction near BMO Field and the TTC detour continue until April 2016.

Southbound buses operate along their regular route.

From Monday, November 20 until April 2016, northbound buses start their trips in Princes’ Gate Loop, then proceed:

northward along Canada Drive; and then
westward along Manitoba Drive to Nova Scotia Avenue,
resuming their regular route westward along Manitoba.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops:

  • on Princes’ Boulevard across from Newfoundland Road (beside the Direct Energy Centre) and
  • on Nunavut Road north of Princes’ Boulevard (beside the Horse Palace).

Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop

  • on Manitoba Drive beside Exhibition Loop.
