The City of Toronto is removing the bridges that carry Dunn and Dowling Avenues over GO Transit’s 01 Lakeshore West line this weekend. To accommodate the work, GO is operating:

• trains along the 01 Lakeshore West line only between Mimico GO Station and Union Station all day Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22;
• shuttle buses between Port Credit GO Station and Union Station GO Bus Terminal; and
• special weekend trains along the 21 Milton line.

01 Lakeshore West trains

All trains operate between Aldershot and Mimico GO Station, according to the regular schedule, except:

• the eastbound trains that usually leave Aldershot at 8:01, 9:01 and 10:01 a.m. leave, instead, ten minutes later at 8:11, 9:11 and 10:11 a.m. They drop off or pick up passengers at all stations west of Mimico as much as ten minutes later than usually. They end their trips in Mimico at 9:04, 10:04 and 11:04 a.m.
• the westbound trains that usually leave Mimico at 6:58, 7:58 and 8:58 a.m. leave, instead, ten minutes later, at 7:08, 8:08 and 9:08 a.m. They drop off or pick up passengers at all stations west of Mimico as much as ten minutes later than usually. They end their trips in Aldershot at 8:01, 9:01 and 10:01 a.m.
• the westbound trains that usually leave Mimico at 11:58 p.m. and 12:58 a.m. leave, instead, ten minutes later at 12:08 and 1:08 a.m. They serve stations as much as ten minutes later than usually. They end their trips in Aldershot at 1:01 and 2:01 a.m.

01 Lakeshore West shuttle buses

All buses operate between Port Credit GO Station and Union Station GO Bus Terminal.

• eastbound buses leave Port Credit at 7:45, 8:55, 9:55, 10:15 and 10:55 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and every 30 minutes until 11:45 p.m. They end their trips in Union terminal at 10:15, 11 and 11:40 a.m., noon, 12:30 p.m. and every 30 minutes until 12:05 a.m.
• westbound buses leave Union at 6:50, 7:50 and 8:50 a.m., 9:15 a.m. and every 30 minutes until 10:45 p.m., 11:25 p.m. and 12:25 a.m. They end their trips in Port Credit at 7:10, 8:10 and 9:10 a.m., 10 a.m. and every 30 minutes until 11:30 p.m., 12:10 and 1:10 p.m.

21 Milton line — special weekend trains

All trains drop off or pick up passengers at all stations along the line.

• eastbound trains leave Milton GO Station at 6:23 a.m. and every three hours until 9:23 p.m. They end their trips in Union Station at 7:24 p.m. and every three hours until 10:24 p.m.
• westbound trains leave Union at 7:50 a.m. and every three hours until 10:50 p.m. They end their trips in Milton at 8:49 and every three hours until 11:49 p.m.

If you use PRESTO fare cards:

• Use your card in the usual way for traveling by train along the 01 Lakeshore West line, including defaults and tapping on or off at stations;
• Don’t tap on or off aboard shuttle buses between Port Credit and Union. Instead, tap on or off at the PRESTO machines in the Union Station GO Bus Terminal or in the Bay East Teamway.
• If you’re traveling aboard a Milton line train and have set your PRESTO defaults for Lakeshore West stations, make sure you press the override button before tapping on to board. Be sure to tap off at the end of each trip.

GO buses continue to operate with regular schedules along these routes:

• 12 Niagara Falls / Burlington;
• 15 McMaster;
• 18 Lakeshore West;
• 21 Milton / Toronto.

GO is also revising service along the 09 Lakeshore East line this weekend during another construction project. Check schedules to confirm times for connecting trains at Union Station.
