WATERFRONToronto is installing a sanitary sewer main to link the West Don Lands to a new water-treatment facility in the area.
The work blocks
- Cherry Street, northbound lanes, between Mill Street and the railway bridge north of Lake Shore Boulevard East
starting 6 a.m. Thursday, November 26.
The TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while the lanes are closed:
- 172 Cherry St.
Construction continues until mid-December.

Eastbound buses operate along their regular route.
From 6 a.m. Thursday, November 26 until mid-December, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Cherry Street and Lake Shore Boulevard East, then detour:
westward along Lake Shore East; and then
northward along Parliament Street to Mill Street,
resuming their regular route northward along Parliament.Westbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Mill Street west of Parliament Street and at Trinity and Parliament Streets.
Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop
- on Parliament Street at Mill Street.
