During the meeting, the commissioners will discuss, among other items, staff reports recommending that the TTC:

• Approve changes to the TTC fare policy resulting from converting to the PRESTO fare card system, including:

• single cash fare in 2017;
• proof-of-payment boarding across the system in 2017;
• “tapping on” with PRESTO cards when boarding buses and streetcars in 2017;
• “tapping on and off” with PRESTO cards at subway stations in 2017;
• daily “rewards” to the PRESTO accounts (or “e-purses”) of passengers making several trips in one day;
• weekly and monthly Metropasses using PRESTO in 2016;
• Metropass Discount Plan online with PRESTO in 2017; and
• peak and off-peak pricing as part of the 2018 budget process.
